"The design of The Brook is one of pure simplicity and understated style. The building nestles on a gently sloping site just below where forests climb toward the peak of Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver. Every detail in the 24 residential units is deliberately reserved, letting natural colours and materials converge with the spectacular natural scenery all around. Soft palettes of textured concrete and honey-toned ledgestone contrast black framed broad glass walls and windows, position the building elegantly into the natural landscape.
